It is powered by a low noise & low vibration brushless motor with a direct drive system for rugged cutting applications. It features a variable speed trigger with a torque boost mode to power through dense material like thick or hard branches. The lightweight compact design and ergonomic top-handle make it easy to operate and control when trimming branches at different angles. A large oil filling port and oil reservoir window ensure straightforward maintenance and an effortless access captive bar nut prevents drops when replacing the chain. The Lock-off switch prevents accidental startups and the built-in electric chain brake creates maximum productivity by reducing the risk of injury due to kickback. A built-in retractable hook allows you to hang your tool within easy reach as well as store it safely out of the way when not in use.
