Cutting threaded rods is quick and easy with the 20V MAX Threaded Rod Cutter. It cuts threaded rod sizes including 1/4 in, 3/8in and 1/2in mild steel coarse thread rods, as well as 1/4in and 3/8in stainless steel coarse thread rods with up to 350 3/8in cuts on one battery charge. By rotating the four-sided cutting die, you can cut three different sizes of threaded rods with the same tool. During cutting, the unit does not create chips or sparks, resulting in a burr-free cut so fasteners can be threaded without having to be cleaned. It increases control by eliminating fast-moving blades or wheels, which can bind up when cutting or trimming threaded rods.
