The FLEXVOLT 20V MAX 4-1/2" to 5" Brushless Cordless Variable-Speed Angle Grinder provides both power and portability for tasks around your home, in the shop, or at the job site. This grinder is equipped with a high-performance brushless motor that delivers a maximum of 1,550 watts and up to 9,000 RPM, making it capable of handling most grinding and cutting applications. The DCG416VS's variable speed functionality enables users to adjust the wheel speed as needed for different tasks. Its Kickback Brake engages with maximum force to swiftly stop the wheel and shut off the grinder when a bind-up occurs. In addition, an E-Clutch system shuts down the motor in less than a tenth of a second if a pinch or stall is detected. The E-Switch Protection feature senses when the ON/OFF trigger switch has a no-volt release function, thus preventing unintended activation during use or transport. This angle grinder also includes an adjustable guard, which can be altered with just one hand for convenient operation.
